Life after a Kindle

Background
Ive always been an avid reader, and have always loved the idea of sitting down on a cold day and reading the day away. But reality hits hard and I am left without the ability to read as many books as I want, let alone keep them all in the same place as me.
Yearly Haul
I was able to get a fresh set of books I liked a little over a year ago, and have managed to seperate them over 3 locations, meaning most are still fresh in the box. As saddening as it is for a reader to see a book go unread, I knew I had to do something to get back in the groove.
Enter, the opportunity
I found a 10th gen kindle e-reader on sale for about 2K INR, and after careful consideration, decided to buy it. Now, I knew about the control amazon has over its devices and had thankfully found and setup an environment to help me jailbreak it as soon as possible.
So there I was, with a brand new Kindle, downloading some books from its store, throwing books with calibre, and preparing it for a jailbreak.
The Disaster
Imagine the shock when I read that devices above version 5.18.1 could not be jailbroken, as my kindle was updating past that version. My jailbreaking endeavours died before it got the chance to take off.
The Solution
After a few days of frustration, I decided to keep the device offline, and use the device as is, but completely offline. And wait for smarter people to come up with a solution. And after half a year, it finally came! AdBreak!
The Future
An e-reader has honestly been great for travel and reading on the go. Ofcourse it cannot replace the physical feel of a book, the feel and experience is definitely not the same, but it gets the job done without the hassle of carrying around a physical book. I recommend it for anyone tired of distributing books across the world, or for those who want to save space and reduce a little clutter.
